Basic Calculator

Instructions for Basic Calculator

This Calculator requires Office 2007 and is in xlsm format

1. Click on this link

2. Open file then allow macro's

3. Type in details as seen on the example line

4. Your results for savings will be displayed at the bottom

Advanced Calculator

Instructions for Advanced Calculator

This Calculator requires Office 2007 and is in xlsm format (This program gives you an automatic default replacement lamp that can be changed by selecting the appropriate cells on page 3 under the title of "Item")

1. Click on this link

2. Open file then Enable macro's and links (if you are using Vista please adjust security settings)

3. On top tab's there will be a tab labelled  "Add ins" Click that tab

4. Highlight the first cell on page 1 under the title "Item"

5. Select a lamp from the drop down in add in's

6. on the next cell to the right add the number of lamps

7. on the next cell to the right again add the hours of use per day (averaged over 7 days)

8. continue this process for more areas or light fittings

9. Your results for savings will be displayed at the bottom of page 3
