Retrofitting your existing building is one way to start saving on power and greenhouse gases. We believe that it is completely viable to retrofit a shop even if you are only leasing the site. If the payback is a viable period of time then we suggest that should you move locations in the future, there is nothing to stop you from taking your energy saving lighting with you and refitting the old products prior to handing back the keys after a lease agreement has finished. Afterall you did pay for the retrofit lamps. In most cases this is very easily done with no real expertise.
