EnviroGroup delivers 2MW of Solar PV for Darebin Council

EnviroGroup has reached a huge target! Around 450 residential solar installations have been completed as part of the Darebin Solar Saver program. This project was awarded to EnviroGroup by the Darebin City Council and totals 2 MegaWatts of solar, with an average system size of 4.2 kW, installed over only 4 months!

This is a great result and reflects the dedication of our hard-working project, administration, operations, accounts and installation teams involved, without having compromised the amazing level of OHS and Install Quality compliance we have upheld throughout. Since starting the program in August 2018, we have had 12 solar PV installation crew involved, completing an average of 7 installation a day.

Customers accessing the Solar Saver program pay NOTHING upfront and pay it off as a 10 year interest free loan on their quarterly Council rates notice. Meanwhile the customer’s quarterly savings will be much higher than the repayments – so it’s easy and cash flow positive from day one.

Darebin Solar Saver customers first enrol with Darebin City Council to be a part of this special charge program. They then worked out the details of their new solar system with the help of EnviroGroup’s friendly staff. Darebin Solar Saver customers have been delighted with their new solar systems – this program has given many an opportunity to save with solar energy they wouldn’t have otherwise had without the council’s support. Many customers have already noticed huge reductions in their electricity bills!
