The unique roof design of the Kew Recreation Centre and unsecured power prices led City of Boroondara to EnviroGroup to create a sustainable and suitable solution for the council facility.
EnviroGroup installed 97kWp system across a number of roof tops on the centre featuring 365 x PANDA Series modules from Yingli. The system will generate enough power equivalent to taking 45 medium-sized cars off the road, and a $16,000 saving on their annual power bill.
This is by far the largest solar project we have undertaken. By embracing solar energy, not only do you save money by generating your own power, but you also reduce your carbon footprint, it feels good on all fronts.
